C. F. Rose was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She has been writing as long as she can remember. Her passion for the fantasy genre began with The Hobbit and grew as she discovered Dungeons and Dragons and RPG videogames like Fire Emblem and the Legend of Zelda.
In addition to writing, she enjoys traveling, drawing, playing and creating board games, and winning at local trivia on outdated shows like Seinfeld and The Office.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported her in bringing the Sword of Elilah to life!

Acknowledgements
While the Sword of Elilah takes place in a fantastical land, much of it is rooted in our own world. The elven culture is largely based off of Indigenous American cultures, including the Wampanoag, the Navajo/Diné, the Keetoowah, and the Ojibwe, among others. The violence, including rape, sexual abuse, and slavery featured in the Sword of Elilah is a call to fight against such injustices that occur in our world every day. Please consider donating to a charity that supports Indigenous Peoples or victims of violence and slavery, such as Stronghearts Native Helpline, Not Our Native Daughters, or Free the Slaves.
